Test

When you understand that you can’t control EVERYTHING, you’re in the right space. There will be conversations about you, that probably should include you, but all you can do is own your space, have your voice, and speak when it’s time and allow that to control what it can. Use your authority wisely. You don’t have to throw your weight around for people to know who calls the shots. They’ll see once you say it, and things shift according to what you’ve said. Gracefully own your power. Queen Esther didn’t throw her weight around she used prayer, wisdom, and strategy. Even when Mordecai told her off, she could’ve snapped and said, “I’m in a leading role and I don’t have to listen to anything you’ve said.” But she basically said, “I’ll get back to you” rehearse this, practice and be slow to say the yes! Have the spirit of humility and understand that your getting back to them isn’t a “Boss Move” but it’s a “wise move” with a Christ like approach and purpose driven. After reading this, find purpose in everything you do. If you don’t find purpose in it, then release yourself from it. Save your time and please the Father. There’s power in purpose. When you’re clear of it, you’re a forced to be reckoned with. Walk in that!!!

Esther 4:10-17

Get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the message God has planted in your hearts, for it is strong enough to save your soul.” JAMES 1:21 (NLT)Get rid of anything that is dark or causes your mind to be clouded. I’ve interpreted this as get rid of anything that isn’t from heaven.Release anything that causes you to be distracted from the honest message that your soul, and heart, carries because that is your answer. That is your purpose. For a long time, I’d disregard the uncomfortable feelings or intuitions that were “strong enough to save my soul”. My soul was telling me to say less with certain people, do more with this, to stop that relationship, don’t spend that, return that bag because you’ll need that money for later, call that person and apologize, be quiet and just listen, don’t overthink it, leave it alone, etc. These heart sent messages were all unctions that has to do with my purpose.God has already set purpose in your heart. (Ecc. 3:11) Your purpose, and what you feel you were born to do, will save you time in this life and the life after this one. When you walk with the Lord, we begin making decisions that match our purpose. So, Don’t fight it! Don’t resist it! Before you know it, time will have passed you, and you’ll realize that your life has felt like you’ve been in a belly of a whale if you don’t go with it. Go with what? God’s plan that strong message in your heart that can save your soul. (Jonah 1:17) We say, “God doesn’t speak to me..” but sometimes God doesn’t always have full blown conversations with us. Sometimes it’s a truth that’s already around us. It could be a truth that we don’t want to accept or something we want to hold onto. So, I’ve had to make a decision of if I want to be free or to just live the lie? Or things that are forced? Am I going to live a life that I’ve tailored made? Or accept that I’m an invention with a purpose and the life that God has planned for me is the best route?So, what’s tugging at you? What haven’t you surrendered to the Lord? What part of your life is in the back of your mind saying “give me to Jesus”? Do you feel like your should be further in certain areas of your life? Do you feel like you should be more involved with kingdom work? Do you feel like it’s time to minimize your complaints? Go for it. It’s about to be the new year. In this season, God wants peace and for your ascend. So, reflect, pray, plan, eliminate, and take the steps forward. W

Hey You!

Aunty Janet once said, “What have you done for me lately?” However, I’d like to flip it and encourage you to not wait for anyone else but ask yourself, “What have you done for YOU lately?” Have you found time to make your annual doctoral visits? Or have you been more concerned with everyone else or too busy building your brand?

Self care is so important in order to fulfill your purpose successfully. I’m aware that we are a well informed group of people. However, sometimes the reminders are so necessary. So, take this as a reminder! “You’re worth it!” It’s not just the money that you need but you need your heart beat, successful joint movements, restful nights, and more to also enjoy the money. Ha! Take time to find your place of peace and quiet. Feel free, to not only listen to others, but to listen to yourself. When you’re restored you’re given a new wave of strength to persevere and to think clear. God wants you to sift through the mental clutter and hear what He’s saying to you through your soul. He’s ready to revive you so that you can believe in love and dreams again. I’ve been telling my sistHERS (mentees), if you don’t know how to spend your time and money, other people will know how to spend it for you. Keep conversations a little shorter, have more time to yourself, prioritize people into your schedule by levels of mutualism, acknowledge what they do and don’t do. Make sure you’re evaluating yourself to the same standard. Listen to the wise and find safety in new relationships. Find brands that speak directly to you. Don’t break yourself to fit the mold of what society says is “in”. Don’t break yourself by comparisons. If you’re curvy, shop with the curvy lines. If you’re a runway model sized gal, shop with more straight sized brands. Make sure your heart is well, but don’t break yourself over things that are a fly by night.

Josuha 1:9 Deuteronomy 31:6

It’s that simple. I just wanted to encourage you and remind you to get back to your dreams, goals and passion. I know time may have redirected you but let the promises of God remind you that your future is secure. Go for what you were called in the earth to do and have. Don’t settle for less. We will spend more time in eternity than we will in this life. So, how will you answer to Jesus when He returns? Will you have to say that people and the shorter life has talked you out of your purpose? Or will He be able to say, “Well done! You were popping’!” Ha! god has great things in the works for you. Believe it, and while you’re believing it, put some action to it. Don’t put yourself in the position to always have to start again. Start today. you’ve been dreaming it. So, now start planning it and then JUST DO IT!
