Things are happening. God is answering prayers. Deadweight is falling and we’ve become more aware of self care and who we are in the earth. Some of our ways of #selfcare has pushed us more into #faith and #action.

We’ve become more aware of our #time and where our #dollars are going. This is an #awakening and what #God wants for us! You’re in the right space. Though things may be taking time, God is literally allowing things to run it’s course so that it’s not in the way for you. I’ve prayed #prayers and it seemed like things were taking so long. I shifted my #focus on when it would happen, and focused on what I needed to make better for when it happens. So, I kept in mind that “IT WILL HAPPEN”!

He’s rewarding his children who have made the #sacrifice and has not forgotten the importance of the #commitment to Him. He’s still planting ideas in our minds to ensure that we not inherit the job by the residual income. This doesn’t only speak to the financial part of us, but residual income could be the stream of your peace or sleep at night. He’s removing any blockage. Anything/anyone who is in the way of blocking the flow of things. Because you have such level of loyalty and won’t let some things go, he’s going to help us, by moving them on our behalf. Don’t worry. This will all happen “all of sudden”. There’s a shift that’s happening. Scientist say it’s happening in the earth and I’m led to believe that signs in the natural is what’s happening in the spiritual. The promises of God are still EVERYTHING (AMEN) and He has not forgotten you. I’m glad I know this living God.Scriptures to Consider:

You only have what’s inside of you to give. Don’t force, or exhaust, yourself to give anymore than what you have to give. Do your best!!! Reach for the skies, but don’t push too hard because it may hurt you. Very often I would sing and pick myself apart afterwards. I would judge how I did by how the crowd would respond. For years, I would walk off stage and live in my mind asking “Was that good enough?” Or always finding the person who seemed to be the most uninterested and judging how effective I was.

Sometimes I would spot someone on their phone, walking out, etc. LOL I laugh at myself now because out of hundreds and thousands of people I would spot a handful and say, “It wasn’t good." Do you often pull the negative more than you do the positive? It’s very easy for us to do.Lately, I’ve come to terms with the fact that everything I do, should be as if it’s only me and God. Yes yes yes! Serve people. But keep in mind, people get excited or are often driven by feelings. Feelings fluctuate. This includes us.So, maybe you’re an artist, entrepreneur, teen, wife, husband, mother, etc. no matter how old you are, we all experience these feelings of inadequacy. I want to affirm with you that you have what it takes to be successful within your own right. You’re validation is not determined by the response of people. People change. You do too! A friend once told me, “Find the one person in the crowd who seems the most excited and sing to them like it’s your last chance.”

I want to encourage you to do the same. Who pours into you and loves on you? Who gives you truths that sting but with some honey? I ran with this advice and I feel good about it every time. Find the one who appreciates you the most. But even they may be fickle. So, define success as you grow and by what’s in you. Yes! You’ll have to stretch yourself in life, but let God show you when it’s time for the next level. Don’t dress up your gift. Cultivate it. Stay true to who you are and know that you’re amazingly equipped with the necessary tools, time and grace to be all you can be. If they don’t appreciate it, go where you are appreciated!!

P.S. if they aren’t happy, always leave being able to say “I tried my best” or “I did all I could!”

I’m sorry for anything that has hurt you or anything that has put a wedge between us. Thank you for not holding me hostage of my past. I’ve probably said that a lot of my past were from mistakes but honestly, they were simply poor decisions. I want to be mature enough by not making any excuses for what I may have done to offend you. I want to grow in you and experience more depth so that I can say no when I need to. Please complete your work in me and guide me on moving forward. Give me the grace and freedom to deal with it and be done with it. I trust that this is your will. Give me strength to fight against being a victim or a slave of my past. Anyone or anything that try and keeps me there, move it/them from my life. I declare over my life, I will not become a victim of options or the past. So, let it be. Amen.

If death came, would they have known that I love them?

Honor one another above yourselves." ~ Romans 12:9-10One week I had taken a long break from social media and meats. I noticed how much I naturally go to these things as if it was apart of my breathing pattern. While removing these two things, I was able to see how I very often can be stuck in a room, living on my phone with social media not paying attention to pertinent moments around me. Interestingly, these things came as second nature to me. While removing this from my regimen, I begin spending time with my loved ones a bit more. Noticing more about them. Hearing them say things that someone should hear in order to know what to pray for. I went for a walk to absorb some sunlight, fresh air, and didn’t realize how refreshing this experience was for me and my well being. Considering what seeing God’s glory could do to my faith and what vitamin D could do to my skin. I then noticed the time that I don’t always give myself. I’m often unable to hear what my soul and body may be telling me. Hence, I had time to love on myself, my family, and friends. God blesses us with amazing people who often are assigned to us with solutions, prayer, healing love, and guidance. I made myself available to those who were worth my time. I said yes to those I love and enjoyed myself immensely. I made time for God at the top of my day and throughout. I thought to myself, if something were to ever happen to any of them they would know that I love them. Have you shown those around you that you love them in action and in deed? If you were to lose them today, or they were to lose you, would they know that you love(d) them? So many people lose loved ones and aren’t able to move forward. Is this because of only their deep connection, or because of what they could’ve/should’ve been to them?

Can we talk about this Childish Gambino?! I loved the video! It was simply powerful to use entertainment as a vehicle to connect with a universal message. It’s unfortunately exactly what’s happening. A joke? #thisIsAmerica the underlying dark tones in the music to help translate the message while the new sound of what we call “hip hop” connects the message to the current listener to grab their attention, along with the Smokey undertones and grey colors in the video to tell the story, with explicit actions of unjust murder and the oversight of what happens in one day while we’re immediately on to the next current dance and/ or inspired by lack of Knowledge and creativity, is just brilliant. I know that was a huge run-on sentence, but this video says so much! I often find it hard to find inspiration/correction from some of today’s music. It was just right, but so sad that this is where we are. It’s not only prayers that will make a difference but our actions that will work as a domino effect.This inspired me to be a more educated force in this nation. It frightens me that so many are leaving leadership and guidance to develop their own ideologies and religions to make it fit for them. Leaving us with no backbone. We were once intrigued by profound messages or serious matters. Some of us are afraid to go to church because of the mass shootings that are repeatedly happening. Is there a way to watch and pray? What aren’t we seeing that’s sliding right by us? We think that young people are so caught up in something else while in all truth, many of them are completely aware but not interested. They’re able to sit and hold a new level of intellect and conversation because of the capacity of information that is given. Yet they’re not clear of what to do with it because of the age/time of which they hold it. This is a frightening space. How do we win those we are trying to win/influence without mocking them? How do we get their attention? While some of what interests them can be highly frustrating, what enemies can we keep close to know the plot but to protect a people? This powerful narrative speaks clearly of where we are. I hope it spoke to you too. There were signs in this. Questions to ask ourselves:How serious are you?Are you walking in purpose?Who will my purpose effect?Will my purpose effect those who are called to lead the masses?Though we’re in the end times, how can I be a powerful agent in the earth to bring awareness or to be somewhat of a preventative agent?Am I often taken as a joke or a fly by night?What do I stand for?Are you living what you’re preaching?Do we get clever ideas and not live it?Who’s village are you apart of?
